Latest News (8-2-10)

NEW (upcoming) Website:

Wow! I'm finally 100% finished with the new patch section of the upcoming and ALL-NEW Patches of Pride website. Hmm...that only took me, oh...3 YEARS to complete! But that's the way it is when you're a "one man operation," filling existing orders has to come first. New website second. However, the wait will definitely be worth it as I've added thousands of new items including patches for Australian, Japanese, Russian, German, all U.S. forces, U.N., TV and pop culture, British, Police, Fire, EMT and more. I'm moving on now to adding new waterslide decal sets for all 1/6th scale vehicles, aircraft, helmets and more. My plan is (still) to get the new website uploaded and online by this year.

Customer Input: I want to thank everyone out there who sent in a suggestion for new products over the years. MOST of your ideas have now become REALITY and are being added to the new website for sale. Please keep those ideas and comments coming!

When it's Ready: In addition to a greatly expanded lineup of patches, the all-new 2010 Patches of Pride website will also debut several new decal sets, diorama accessories and much more . When it's completed, there will be a big online virtual ribbon cutting ceremony complete with a customer appreciation "Grand Opening" sale, free giveaways, etc.

Stay tuned folks, this is going to be even better than I ever imagined (and I set the bar pretty high)!

"Return of the Magnificent 7" Slideshows

M7 Update:

The growing popularity of my resurrected vintage GIjOEs (dubbed the "Magnificent 7") has been both gratifying and surprising. Their personalities continuing to emerge and entertain us all, and I just wanted to thank everyone for your kind words and supportive "fan" emails. We love reading them and have passed them on to "the boys" to read at their own Mail Call (hope they don't get swelled heads--HA). Maybe there should be a future episode where they just answer fan letters? HA!

But seriously, when I first started creating their little comic slideshows, I had no idea they'd be so well received by Joeheads around the world. Admittedly, the story of the Seven's reawakening into the 21st century AND being returned to their original owner is a rare and exciting one--one that seems to easily breach all nationality barriers. This is the sort of "dream come true" tale that ALL collectors wish for, but most will never realize. The M7 remind us that there is, at least, HOPE.

If you haven't yet heard of the Magnificent 7, we hope you'll share the joy of their very special reunion by following these inspiring adventures, starting with the Prologue. Further chapters are listed below. Comments are always welcome. Enjoy!
