1/6th Scale AH-6 Littlebird U.S. Army [160th
Nightstalkers] Decal Set
This
GIANT decal set was patterned after the authentic military markings
used by the U.S. Army's 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (aka SOAR)
on their Littlebirds.
The 160th has a stylized "spearhead" insignia which alludes to the shoulder sleeve insignia worn by the 1st Special Service Force, and signifies the heritage and traditions that the U.S. Army Special Operations Command perpetuates. The unsheathed black dagger symbolizes the group's TOTAL military preparedness and has long been associated with Army Special Operations Forces. The group's Latin motto is "Sine Pari" (Without Equal), as well as the more colorful (and ominous) "Death Waits in the Dark," as seen in the above photo. Dubbed the "Nightstalkers," this unique force specializes in working and attacking in the dark of the night, surprising enemy forces with their daring, expertise, and overwhelming firepower. During the Persian Gulf War, "We own the night," was a commonly heard phrase among members of the group.
Authentic in both size and style, this great new 38-piece decal set includes historically accurate (and razor-sharp) water-slide decals, custom-designed for the exterior of this exciting 1/6 th scale military aircraft (not included). This is such a big set, we discovered it takes a few hours to install properly. But, man-oh-man, what a difference it makes when you're done! We couldn't believe how gorgeous these decals were. We're including an additional, special instruction sheet so you should have no problem with YOUR smooooooth installation!
