German Military Fire Extinguisher
  Absolutely beautiful
little item. This is an all-metal, 1/6th scale (2" long!) fire
extinguisher that has a realistically rough, dark olive drab "combat
surface" and battle-roughened labels. Typically found on the smaller
tanks, Kubelwagens, Schwimmwagens, and staff cars of the German military,
this fire extinguisher is a miniature museum-quality marvel that comes complete
(and fully-assembled!) with the following:
- Real metal cotting pin
- Durable plastic tie-down strap

- Big 3-section instruction label that you can actually read--in
GERMAN!
- Solid METAL construction
 CUSTOM PAINTING NOTES:
German WWII fire extinguishers were typically strapped between a vehicle's
seats or onto the outside surfaces of armored vehicles. As a result,
most of these units (originally painted bright red) were eventually camoflaged
with an overpaint of dark, basic Wermacht OD (like ours)--or in various
shades of gray and black--OR with a mixture of tans and browns (for DAK
vehicles in North Africa--see photo at left).
Available in both Panzer Grey or Desert Tan versions.
