Oh mama....these suckers are big---REALLY big! They're over 3
TIMES as big as our regular hood-mounted vehicle
flags, measure (on average) a whopping 6" x 10" in size,
and come in FULL glorious color. Your big armored vehicles, tanks and building
dioramas will certainly stand out from the rest with one of these babies
strapped in place.
During the early years of WWII, when Germany's air supremacy was
undisputed and went largely unchallenged, it was common practice for all
German military vehicles to be adorned with a standard NSDAP [Nazi Party]
vehicle flag (as shown in the historic photos below).
Typically, such flags were lashed across a vehicle's hood, rear deck
or other such highly visible location, and were used to signal German aircraft
flying overhead as to the beginings and ends of military convoys, and to
prevent the accidental bombing or strafing of German vehicles by "friendly
fire" during the numerous battles raging throughout Europe, Russia
and even North Africa.
German vehicle flags came in two sizes--small and large. These larger
ones were standard (3 : 5 ratio) NSDAP flags, and were most frequently seen
on Panzer Tanks, Hanomag Armored Personnel Carriers, Halftracks, and
other such larger-sized armored vehicles. Some were simply tied down by
knotting the corners, while many others were reinforced with metal grommets
(like ours) along the sides and corners so as to strengthen the flag against
wind and weather abuse.
PLEASE NOTE: The average size of rectangular-shaped
GIANT flags is approximately: 6" x 10". Some may be slightly
larger, and some may be slightly smaller (depending on their unique design).

is permanently imprinted on ONE SIDE in full-color on our super-tough
Classic Cloth, and all corners are reinforced with real metal
brass grommets. Tie-down lanyards are also supplied, along with an installation
instruction sheet.
